In 1988, he went to Liberty University, Lynchburg Virginia, played four years of collegiate football, and received a BS in Pastoral Studies, and then a Masters of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
In 1984, he married Lorrie Alderfer.
In 1988, he moved to New York City with the hopes of starting a church. He taught in a Christian inner city school for three years in upper Manhattan.
Worked with New York businessmen for three years, discipleship, led Bible studies.
Led the Bible study at the New York Stock Exchange for two years.
In 1994, he moved to Sidonia, Tennessee to pastor a country church close to his parents.
Pastored Sidonia Baptist Church for three years.
In 1997, he moved to DuPont.
Bob & Lorrie have four children: Crystal, Kari, Eric & Jennifer.
