Baptised at St. Augustine Church in Fadelity, Sabethan, PO Box 3.
Elizabeth Guettermann became a nun, and professed August 13, 1905. Changed her name to Sister Vincentine.

Elizabeth Guettermann had first sought admission to become a nun with the Notre Dame order in St. Louis. However, because of her young age she wasn't admitted, but later on she applied to the Poor Handmaids and was accepted. She was in the motherhouse for 10 years with health problems, and the doctor had told her that she would not live to be 27 years old. But be that as it may, she lived to be 81. In addition, it's believed she was the first one of the Poor Handmaids to get a master's degree.

Burial: Ancilla Domini Cemetery, Donaldson, Indiana.
