Notes for Linus "Lenis" Arthur Guetterman
A story passed down to the son of Norman John Guettermann is, that while smoking a cigar Lenis would dive into the farm pond going under water and come up smoking a cigar that was still lit.
Lenis Guetterman died from hepatitis. He had dark skin ever since he was young, and he really put away the booze that later did him in.
Burial: Green Mount Cemetery, Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois.
