My Grandmother never remarried after her husband died. She always said, "There could never be a greater man than he." She was a true lady, she would never wear pants, always a dress. She would never walk into a place they sold liquior at. "Ladies could never be seen there alone" (although she did have a beer now and then). She had the most beautiful legs, and loved to dance. I remember wearing her "flapper" dress once. and she telling me how her husband and her enjoyed dancing. She took great pride in the fact that she could kick higher than her head. At any given notice she would hike up her dress and show a disbeliever. She also loved to bet on facts she knew about, she would always say, "Put your money where your mouth is." My Grandmother was such a great Lady, always fun to be around, and always joking. She was never afraid to try new things.
